Mike Martin has been a Royal Mayfair shareholder since 2014 and values the outstanding golf course, premier clubhouse, and friendly people of our prestigious Club. A Royal Mayfair Board Governor from 2016 to 2020, he has previously served as Chair of the Membership Committee and Development Committee. In addition, he has been a member of previous Governance, Properties, and Finance & Capital Planning committees. A Chartered Professional Accountant with more than 30 years of financial experience in real estate development, property management and hospitality, Mike is pleased to work with his fellow Governors to ensure a strong future for our Club.

Brendon has been a member of the Royal Mayfair for over 15 years and recognizes the honour and privilege of being a part of the preeminent golf course in the city. After many years of enjoying the club with family and friends, Brendon is excited for the opportunity to give something back. As a lifelong Edmontonian and father of two aspiring golfers, Brendon is excited to help build and maintain a legacy for this jewel in the heart of the city.

Terry became a member of the Royal Mayfair in the spring of 2013 in anticipation of his retirement in 2014. An avid student of the game, Terry has enjoyed being a part of the club for the last 12 years, taking great pleasure in all the Mayfair has to offer – the beautiful golf course, excellent practice facilities, the clubhouse amenities and calendar of events, the dedicated and friendly staff and the many new friendships that have developed over the years. Terry’s career began as a lawyer and eventually evolved into various executive positions in the energy industry. He now sits on several corporate boards. As a member of the Royal Mayfair Board, Terry is looking forward to giving back to the club and membership as we continue to build on its great legacy.

Vandy has enjoyed being a member of the Royal Mayfair for over 15 years. Golf has been a big part of her life from childhood onward. She actively participates in club events and enjoys the company of all members. Vandy has been a business owner alongside her husband, Danny, for 25 years. The plan is to sell their business this spring, which means more time to golf and contribute to the board and other meaningful causes.

John Webster has been a Member of the Royal Mayfair Golf Club since 1996. As a Senior Principal at Stantec Architecture, John brings to the Board of Governors his experience in design, construction, and other nonprofit Boards and looks forward to contributing to the future of the Club. John continues as a member of the Properties Committee and as the Clubhouse Construction Liaison.

Eric is a lifelong golfer with a deep passion for business, community, and the sport he loves. Currently President of General Bank of Canada, Eric brings a successful career in banking, Board leadership, and corporate governance to the Royal Mayfair Board. He returned to Edmonton in 2021, joining Mayfair shortly thereafter and is embracing the chance to reconnect with the community. Eric is a proud husband to his wife Candice and father to three adult daughters, and looks forward to contributing to the club's future.

Jason Stanton is a lifelong golf and sports enthusiast with a deep passion for fostering community and athletic development. As the Co-Owner of Running Room, Jason brings years of business acumen and leadership to his endeavors. Dedicated to contributing to Mayfair’s continued success, he combines his love for sports with a commitment to making a positive impact. Jason is a proud husband to Melissa and a devoted father to their two daughters

Doug has been a dedicated member of the club for over 35 years, actively participating in numerous events and serving on both the membership and greens committees. His extensive experience and deep familiarity with the club’s evolution, from the comprehensive redesign of the golf course in the late 1980s to the development of the new clubhouse, position him well for his new role as Governor. A proud Edmontonian, Doug has been an avid golfer from a young age and enjoys a range of other sports. He holds a degree in Finance from Gonzaga University and serves as a Partner and Managing Partner at Cushman & Wakefield, where he is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office. Doug’s blend of long-term commitment to the club and professional expertise will be invaluable in guiding the club’s continued growth and success.

Katrina is honored to serve on the Board of Governors at the Club. As a competitive collegiate soccer player & coach, she has developed a lifelong passion for teamwork, discipline, and strategic thinking — qualities that have naturally transitioned into her love for golf and commitment to the club community. As a business owner in Edmonton for the past 11 years, she brings experience in leadership, financial oversight, and long-term planning. Over the last two years, she has had the privilege of serving on the Finance and Capital Planning Committee, helping support responsible stewardship and future-focused investment for the club. She has also served for one year on the Membership Committee, where she gained valuable perspective on member experience and engagement. She looks forward to contributing to the continued growth, tradition, and excellence of Royal Mayfair while helping ensure a strong future for generations to come.
